Kirby specializes in general civil litigation, including family law. Trained as a litigator, Kirby is a skilled courtroom advocate.  She has secured many favourable outcomes for her clients in both the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Provincial Court of British Columbia.

Kirby is also experienced in successfully negotiating settlements for her clients outside of court. Recognizing that many files may benefit from alternative dispute resolution, she frequently attends mediations and arbitrations on behalf of her clients.

Kirby’s files often involve conflicts between family members, and she understands the complexities that come with navigating these disputes.  Kirby provides clear, practical, and thorough advice. She is results-driven and committed to ensuring that her clients feel supported at every stage in the file.

Kirby joined Cook Roberts as an associate in 2019 after practicing at a law firm in Victoria specializing in litigation.

When not working, Kirby can be found playing various sports or camping across Vancouver Island with her family.
