Alex focuses her practice in litigation and dispute resolution, and information and privacy law. Prior to joining the profession, Alex served three Ministers of Health in British Columbia as a Ministerial Assistant and Executive Assistant. In these role, she managed stakeholder relations, developed critical and strategic thinking skills, and simultaneously balanced short term messaging and long-term objectives. She brings these skills to the practice of law.
Alex’s strong advocacy skills were honed at the University of Calgary where she and her team competed for and won the Gale Cup, a national advocacy competition. She then represented Canada at the Commonwealth Moot Competition in Hong Kong.
Born in Victoria, Alex’s involvement in the community includes serving on the Board of Directors of Glenlyon-Norfolk School Society and the Ethics Committee of the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
