With over 33 years experience in the practice of law, Art Roberts
is one of our firms most experienced and highly respected
lawyers. Arts practice focuses on business, commercial and
corporate matters, and includes company acquisitions, joint ventures,
commercial leases, real estate development, construction law, builder's
liens and arbitrations.
Shareholders dispute resolution is another strong aspect of his
work.
Art was appointed Queens Counsel in 1988.
He is often engaged in structuring/negotiating, then documenting,
and after due diligence, closing a transaction (working extended
hours, even all night, if necessary).

Whatever it takes; my job is to get your deal done properly
and astutely, which usually involves me working closely with you
and your accountant.

1987 until 1991.

- In various fund-raising capacities, Art has served the Victoria
YM/YWCA, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Ducks Unlimited, Canadian Cancer
Society and the Vancouver Island Cancer Centre. He was President
of United Way Victoria, a Director of the B.C. Heart & Stroke
Foundation and a Queen Alexandra Childrens Hospital Trustee.
He is currently an Honourary Governor of the Victoria Foundation.
